Defender of Peace and Indigenous Peoples' Rights
Astrid Ingebjørg Swart is a recognized Sámi noaidi (Sámi shaman) from Tana, Finnmark, Norway. Heir to ancestral wisdom, she is a defender of peace and the rights of indigenous peoples.
She has dedicated her life to transmitting Sámi spiritual tradition and is the founder of Sarahkkas, a training and teaching center for Sámi shamanism, and the Sámi Indigenous Festival Sarahkkas.
Carrying the legacy of the noaidi from her family lineage, she shares her knowledge of Sámi spirituality, culture, and autonomy through lectures, workshops, and international missions.
