Dance for World Peace Association

Promoting peace, unity, and harmony among people and with the Earth.

We are an open, plural, and independent association that promotes an international movement of cooperation for peace, based on cultural diversity, freedom, nonviolence, and shared commitment.

Our Mission

The Dance for World Peace Association aims to promote peace, unity, and harmony among peoples and with Mother Earth, through cultural, symbolic, participatory, and civic initiatives at the local, national, and international levels.

We operate on a non-profit basis, from an inclusive and universal perspective.

We believe in cooperation without hierarchies between territories or initiatives, where no action prevails over another, and where each community preserves its autonomy and unique identity.

Our Activities

Our Main Event

Dance for World Peace

Every May 17, communities from different countries come together to participate in an international day of dance, ceremony, and collective expression for peace.
Celebrations can be organized simultaneously or in a decentralized manner, respecting the cultural calendars of Indigenous peoples when necessary.

It is a global call for unity, harmony, and collective commitment.

Network Development

Weaving Networks for Peace

People of Peace
We promote and support the emergence of “People of Peace”: communities, cities, or towns that actively commit to educational, cultural, artistic, or civic projects oriented towards peace.
These initiatives are integrated into an open, cooperative, and evolving network.

CASA – Circle of Grandparents of Ancestral Wisdom
We support and promote the global CASA space, conceived as a living, non-hierarchical, and transgenerational Tlahtokan, dedicated to the preservation and direct transmission of ancestral knowledge.
The Association fully respects its autonomy, consensus mechanisms, and internal organization.

We do not exercise authority or representation over CASA.

Our Principles

We act according to the following principles:

🌍 Universal

We see ourselves as an initiative open to the world, without cultural or territorial borders. Peace is a common good that belongs to all humanity.

🕊️ Apolitical

The Association is independent of any political party or movement. It does not represent partisan interests and acts from a position of respect and neutrality.

🤝 Inclusive

It is open to all people, cultures, traditions, and sensibilities who wish to commit to peace, with mutual respect and nonviolence.

🌱 Plural

We recognize and value the diversity of paths, cultural expressions, and forms of organization. No vision prevails over another.

🔄 Cooperation without Hierarchies

We promote a network where no initiative, territory, or community is subordinate to another. Each action retains its autonomy, and coordination methods can evolve organically and by consensus.
We believe in a dynamic that is adaptable, alive, and respectful of the unique identity of each people.

💛 Free and Non-Profit Participation

Participation is voluntary, non-hierarchical, and non-profit.
Commitment arises from the shared desire to contribute to peace and harmony among peoples and with the Earth.
