Towns of Peace
We promote and support the emergence of “Towns of Peace”: communities, cities or towns that actively commit to educational, cultural, artistic or civic projects oriented toward peace. These initiatives are integrated into an open, cooperative and evolving network.
Weaving an international network of Towns of Peace
Towns of Peace are towns, cities, communities, or territories that decide to actively commit to building a culture of peace, harmony, and coexistence.
This initiative driven by Dance for World Peace seeks to create a vibrant and collaborative international network, made up of communities that develop concrete actions in favor of peace according to their own possibilities, realities, and traditions.
Each Town of Peace is free to express this commitment through educational, cultural, artistic, social, ecological, or civic initiatives, aimed at both the local population and schools, training spaces, associations, and community projects.

What does it mean to be a Town of Peace?
The Network of Towns of Peace is an initiative whose objective is to promote peace, coexistence, and harmony among peoples and with the environment, through symbolic, participatory, and accessible actions for the entire population, developed at the local level and connected to an international dynamic..
Adherence as a Town of Peace involves the voluntary commitment of the municipality to promote and organize, according to its own capacities and priorities,awareness-raising, education, and citizen participation activities in favor of peace, aimed at both thegeneral populationand theeducational centers, including schools and training spaces.
An International Network
Towns of Peace can connect with each other to share experiences, inspirations, and projects, thus strengthening an international dynamic based on mutual support and collective peacebuilding.
Each new Town of Peace expands this human and symbolic network that unites communities from different countries around a common purpose.
Awakening memories of peace.
