New Fire Ceremony – Pleiades at the Zenith

November 19

November 19

Every November 19 at midnight, the Pleiades reach the highest point in the sky (zenith) above Tenochtitlan.
This moment was considered sacred in ancient Mexico, marking the preparation for the New Fire, a ceremony that every 52 years brought together all the peoples of Anáhuac in an act of cosmic and spiritual unity.

The New Fire represented the closing of a cycle and the renewal of the bond between human beings, the Earth, and the cosmos.
In the tradition, all fires were extinguished before lighting a new one, as a symbol of the continuity of life and the movement of the Sun.

Today, this date is reawakened as a symbol of planetary convergence, an opportunity for each person, wherever they are, to join in meditation, ceremony, or dance, in harmony with the rhythms of nature and the cosmos.

At this time, a space of clarity also opens in our relationships:
an invitation to bring order, reconciliation, and harmony to our connections — with oneself, with others, and with life.

From different places around the world, we light the same fire,
uniting intention, presence, and prayer.

One heart, one fire, one humanity.
