Marisela Ugalde, a passionate scholar and instructor of martial arts with a deep connection to Mexican culture. Her interest in martial arts began in her youth, leading her to earn black belts in various disciplines such as Kung Fu, Viet Bo Dao, and Chinese Kenpo. Marisela has dedicated her life to the research and practice of pre-Hispanic martial arts, culminating in the creation of Xilam Mexican Martial Art. This unique system integrates ancestral wisdom with modern techniques, promoting human development through harmony between mind, body, and spirit.    

As the founder of the Mexican Association of Pre-Hispanic Martial Arts Xilam A.C., Marisela has shared her knowledge at congresses, events, and conferences at both national and international levels. Her work has been recognized with the “Knight Eagle” award, an Honorary Doctorate, and the title of “Parliamentarian of Ancestral Wisdom,” among others.    

Marisela Ugalde is a true ambassador of Mexican culture, bringing ancestral wisdom to new generations through her passion for martial arts.
