Lolita Vargas Martínez, known asMalinalticitl, isa smudger, medicine woman, and guardian of the ancestral tradition of Anáhuac. Originally from Salvatierra, Guanajuato, she has dedicated her life to the conservation, dissemination, and teaching of the ancestral knowledge of indigenous peoples.

She is the author of books such as"Copal Divine Offering. The Smudger and the Smudgers"and"Tlazolteotl, Lady of Medicine, of the Temazcalli", and has been recognized asMedicine Womanby UNESCO andDoctor Honoris Causaby the Doctoral Cloister of Mexico City.

Grandmother Lolita directs theYollocalli - Bernal Centerand theGayatri Institutein Querétaro, where she continues to share her knowledge through ceremonies, workshops, and conferences. Her work is a bridge between ancestral knowledge and new generations, promoting healing and balance with Mother Earth.
