Grandmother of Ancestral Wisdom
Vilma Adelaida Andia Aquino, whose traditional name in Quechua is Q'enti Siwa Ya Yachaysapa, in Nahuatl Chikuey Xochitl, and in Maya Luumil Nah Quetzal, is a medicine woman, researcher of ancestral cultures, guardian of the earth and mother nature. She describes herself as Chaka Runa Warmi (Bridge Woman), uniting nations through her people, awakening a higher consciousness in the unity as a human family.
Her work with the community focuses on fostering bonds of unity in diversity, reminding people of their origin and mission in this planetary time. She uses her ability as a channel for the spirit of mama kuka, harmonizer in existential crisis processes and liberation from interferences to human development, connector of worlds, unifying ancestral knowledge (galactic Mayans, solar Mayans, Quiché Mayans), her practice as a Mexica dancer, dancer of the sun and the moon, and her ability to harmonize with the four elements as instruments of service.
She has written articles for books on Andean worldview and has shared the wisdom of the ancestors on journeys through America, Europe, and Asia.
