Spiritual Leader and Dancer
Grandfather Ricardo Cervantes Cervantes, whose Toltec name is Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, is a spiritual leader of the Toltec community of Teotihuacan. Recognized for his work in preserving culture, he was appointed ambassador by the Consul General of Mexico at the Seeds of Compassion Conference, where he led a ceremony with the Dalai Lama.
Founder of the Toltec Cultural Center of Teotihuacan A.C. and the native dance group Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli Teopanacazco, he dedicates his life to spreading knowledge of Mexican indigenous cultures, especially the Toltec, among children, youth, and the general public.
He has participated in the documentary "Many Paths, One Source" and collaborates with the Memnosyne Institute on an educational program. Additionally, he works with the Young Museum of Fine Art on the spiritual interpretation of the Murals of Teotihuacan and promotes unity among the indigenous nations of Mexico as part of the United Nations of the Spirit.
