Environmental Activist
An environmental activist who left law to become an environmental metalworker. He works in the Third Sector, where he has collaborated on multiple cultural and environmental projects. Founder ofLa Cuadra A.C, a hyperlocalism space that promotes permaculture. Founder ofHuerto Roma Verde, a Bio-Social Laboratory that is a space for Environmental Regeneration and is now one of the most recognized Citizen Innovation Centers in the city; Founder ofBajo Circuito, an Alternative Cultural Multiforum, member ofBarrio Unido A.C, a community association. Member of the Council ofRíos Tarango A.C, for the rescue of the Western Ravines of the City, has been part of the groupEditorial Reforma2018 and ofEcoFest.He was part of the Climate Change Council of theMexican Editorial Organizationwhich houses more than 70 newspapers nationwide, such as El Sol de México. He has received recognition for his environmental activities from Academic Institutions, such as theAnáhuac University, the “Arturo Carrasco Bretón” award from theRomel A.C Foundation. He has participated in multiple Congresses and Forums, highlighting the Lincoln Global Exchange atLincoln Center, NY, atSmart Cities, atEarthXMexico,Green Dayof the European Union,Maker Faire Galicia2022, at the Indigenous Quechua University of Bolivia (UNIBOL), at the Botanical Garden of theUniversity of Caldasin Manizales, Colombia where he also participated as a speaker at theMarket of Branches, as a workshop leader at theCultural Center Manizalesand at the Art GalleryBestiaryof that Colombian city; he has also been a speaker at theTrude Sojka Museum Housein Quito, Ecuador and at various seminars, forums, and congresses on socio-environmental issues; he is part of the international community of Active Citizens of theBritish Council, he has also been selected by the communityMECATEof theTechnological Institute of Monterrey.He is also a co-founder and promoter ofExtinction Rebellion Mexicosince 2019, he is part of the Organizing Committee of the Decarbonization and Resilience Plan Mexico 2024-2030 led byGFLAC. He is currently promoting the projectPact with the Earthand theArt and Environment FestivalFAMAFEST.
