Guardian of Fire and Mediator for Peace
From Barcelona, we are honored by the presence of Grandfather Jordi Palou Loverdos, Guardian of the Fire and Mediator for Peace, whose path wisely integrates ancestral spirituality and universal justice.
Bearer of the Fire and Directions Dance ritual, he has been recognized as a Fire Keeper by the Cherokee people, within a living and unbroken tradition spanning more than 30 generations, under the guidance of Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo. Authorized by the Sunray Meditation Society (USA), he shares this spiritual path under the name White Horse Gadugi, in honor of the union of nations through sacred fire.
With over 30 years of experience as a jurist, lawyer, and international mediator, Grandfather Jordi has worked tirelessly on reconciliation processes, transitional justice, and armed conflict resolution. He has directed the Charter for Peace Foundation, which addresses the UN, and facilitated dialogue processes in complex situations such as Rwanda.
His experience as a lawyer accredited before the International Criminal Court in The Hague positions him as a key figure in the fight against impunity and the building of peace through intercultural dialogue and historical memory.
Today we receive him with deep respect, recognizing in him a living bridge between the fire of tradition and the light of justice, a pilgrim of the spirit who honors life through service, listening and the word that reconciles.
