Cultural Promoter and Guardian of Tradition

Ricardo Cervantes León, known as "Tonatiuh", is a dancer who combines dignity, spirituality, and discipline to spread a message of tradition adapted to modern times.

He grew up in the community of San Sebastián Xolalpa, near Teotihuacan, under the guidance of his father, Ricardo Cervantes Tlahuizcalpantecuhtli, sharing the knowledge of Toltec tradition and the magical movements of dance.

He holds a degree in Tourism Management from La Salle University in Cancun and worked in communities in the Maya region, strengthening his connection to his roots. He has worked in the cultural and tourism sector of his municipality, serving as a bridge between indigenous peoples of Mexico and abroad.

In 2007, he co-founded the Toltec Cultural Center of Teotihuacan with his father, where the First Toltec Museum was inaugurated. He has participated in international events such as the Seeds of Compassion Conference alongside the Dalai Lama and has been a cultural ambassador for the Memnosyne Institute with various indigenous nations.

As a speaker, he has participated in universities and international events, and is currently writing a book and promoting the awakening of consciousness through Toltec music and dance.
